On this page, we provide a simple interface to select a probe set based on the latest topology measurement results. The data is updated every Sunday/Monday night at midnight UTC (e.g., 2022-05-30T00:00) and is based on the last four weeks of measurement data.
We actually provide a list of autonomous systems (ASes) instead of probes. This is because the connected probes are constantly changing. In order to avoid querying the Atlas API each time in parallel, we provide the API specification that can be directly used with the template that Atlas provides when creating a new measurement. The specification is a bit bulky, but Atlas currently does not provide a way to enter a list of ASes.
Select a number of Atlas probes, a distance metric, and IP version to generate a list of diverse probe ASes. In addition to the API specification, the results can also be downloaded as a CSV file. The corresponding query to the IHR API is also listed at the bottom of the page.
If you are looking for historical data or want to automate the process, check out the Metis section of the IHR API.
